Since I started my kinesiology business back in 2010 my world has also revolved around having my 3 children. Henry my eldest has just turned 7, I have my have my gorgeous girl Emily aged 5 and cheeky little man Jacob who is 2.

I don’t think it’s a coincidence that many of my clients I’ve worked with during this time have been trying for a baby, expecting a baby or raising their own children. It really is such a privliege to be able to work with these woman and help them feel well, positive and empowered.
How can Kinesiology help with pregnancy?
Emotionally
I‘m extremely passionate about helping pregnant mothers feel safe, confident and calm during their pregnancy. We are brainwashed with fear around giving birth and it is the un-doing of these negative beliefs that truly empower us and help create a positive mindset. What we think and feel affects us physically and when we realise our fears and let them go it strengthens us both mentally and physically.
Nutritionally
We can look at what supplements will support you as an individual. A few that come to mind are omega oils, vitamin D, B vitamins and vitamin C and I can recommend some excellent multi pregnancy vitamins too. We can also discuss diet ideas and look at any food sensitivities that could be contributing to morning sickness.
Physically
There’s a best seller called ‘What to expect when you’re expecting’. This was bought for me during my first pregnancy and I remember reading it and thinking… well none of this applies to me! The transformation that takes place to our bodies is such a miracle and there is of course huge demands on our bodies physically. Kinesiology uses muscle testing to find out where the imbalances are that could be contributing to a bad back, SPD, muscle cramps, sciatica to name a few.
Energetically
With all the changes our bodies go through one of the most profound ways to help during pregnancy is by balancing our subtle energies. These include our meridian pathways, our chakras, our aura and various centering techniques to settle and soothe and bring us back down to earth!
Those 9 months can go by very slowly when you’re not feeling well and thriving. It takes a lot of energy to grow a baby and prepare for motherhood and I guess because I know and remember that feeling so well it brings me so much joy to help women feel great during this most sacred, special time in their lives.
Best wishes
